River Trekking + Tubing
River Trekking + Tubing
The adventure will begin at 10 am at Rua Borba Gato de Cavalcante, where we'll meet up and then walk together to the Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park entrance.
The first activity will take place along the San Bartolomé River - we'll set off on a 3-kilometer (1.86-mile) water hike upriver. Along the route, we'll cross multiple waterfalls and breathtaking canyons that are so characteristic of the Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park. This natural enclave has become one of the major nature reserves in the interior of Brazil.
After the river trek, we'll continue the adventure with a tubing activity in the Almas River. We'll float on tubes down a stretch of 1.2 kilometers (0.75 miles), including several sections with rapids.
The tubing activity will come to an end at a beach in the Bacupari Reserve. In this tranquil setting, we'll enjoy a delicious picnic that includes a sandwich, a slice of cake, fruit juice, and coffee.
Finally, after lunch, we'll walk back to Cavalcante. Arrival back at the meeting point is scheduled for 3 pm.
