Kutná Hora Day Trip
Day Trip Details
We'll depart from downtown Prague and head to the former mining town of Kutná Hora, which we'll reach after a 1.5-hour drive.
Once we arrive in this beautiful town, we’ll explore its picturesque historic center and visit the Cathedral of Santa Bárbara, a Gothic-style cathedral designated a World Heritage Site. Along the way, we’ll also pass by other iconic landmarks, such as the house and the stone fountain.
The highlight of the tour will be a visit to the Sedlec Ossuary, a small Catholic chapel that houses nearly 40,000 human skeletons arranged as if they were unique decorative elements.
After seeing a few other notable World Heritage Sites, you’ll have free time to stroll around, shop, and grab a drink on your own. It’s the perfect opportunity to discover Czech cuisine!
Finally, we’ll return to the meeting point in Prague, where we’ll wrap up this tour, which lasts between 6 and 6.5 hours.
